BEAT Architects are proud to have been involved in the Agricultural Centre of Excellence at Bowen TAFE, providing architectural and consultancy services from design to tender and completion.
With over 30 years of experience in designing Educational Facilities in the greater CQ region, BEAT created functional, modern training facilities for regional students, using emerging technologies in the Agricultural industry, which will provide cutting edge learning spaces well into the future.
Included in this project was a farm bot, grow pod, workshop, lecture rooms, a new laboratory for testing, research, grafting and propagation, a mixed reality (including a simulated / virtual / augmented) digital control room,and a smart centre which allows students to undertake monitoring, control, and analysis of data from grow pods.
